What People are Saying

"We are THRILLED with Alex. She's just amazing, and my son is really getting a lot out of their sessions -- and it shows in his grades! Working with Alex will now be a right of passage for my younger two kids as they enter high school."

— M. M. (mom of a 10th grader)

“Coaching is life changing.  Especially executive function and parent coaching with Alex.  Alex is like having the answers to that question of what am I supposed to do now??? She helped our family realize that even when we are faced with the most difficult parenting, school, behavior, whatever challenges we are not alone in facing them.  We are normal!!! She acknowledged that these things are “not easy”.  Alex reminds us that the path to success is not simple and is a journey where we should “celebrate” every success along the way.  She ensures that we build our “common sense” tool box along the way - tweaking our skills to meet our needs.

Alex brought our family together by helping us help each other.  EF skills are like life’s short cuts to get you to where you want to be.  The best part about Alex is she reminds you that to start you only have to take small steps.

Thank you so much Alex!!!”

— E.B. (mom of a 9th and an 11th grader)

"Alex has been a great help to my kiddo - and to me - ever since another family recommended her to us. I can't begin to tell you how much of a difference she made for us this year. I'm really glad we found her. Highly recommend. "

— D. G. (mom of a 9th grader)

"I never thought a coach would be able to teach me how to be a better husband, father, and man through executive function and parent coaching. Alex heard my failures through the yelling and helped me grow. Everyone can grow and Alex helped me.

5 stars.”

— W.B. (dad of a 9th and an 11th grader)

“Like most parents of high school students, I worried about the repercussions of virtual learning early in the pandemic. I saw my 9th grade son's study habits lose structure with every week that passed as he sat behind his screen, leaving a basic skeleton of the skills he had acquired up until that point. It took a while to figure out who could help him best as his grades weren't suffering too much, but his motivation was practically zero by the time he was in school for 10th grade. When I found Alex and they had their first session, I was impressed. Over the weeks, Alex built a rapport with my son, adapted to his needs, and was flexible and patient. Alex gave him relevant, concrete examples and references to improve his study habits that he was able to immediately apply. Alex's communications with me helped me understand the feedback that my son was getting and that targets were being met. She was encouraging and motivating, not just with my son, but also with me as the parent. Alex has a talent for reading the situation and helping find a solution. We're so grateful that we found her.”
